what i did yesterday
- fran and i went to gleaner’s cafe in bella vista for bagels and juice. i also got a cupcake and a cappucino.
- walked to our new apt. to check out the place again. while we were there one of the neighbors was working in her garden and let us into the alley. she was a sweet, kind woman.
- walked down to riverview. saw harold & kumar escape from guantanamo bay. it was only ok.
- looked at tv’s at target. i think i like the 32” sony bravia.
- ate at wendy’s. unbelievably, camera obscura’s “hey lloyd, i’m ready to be heartbroken” was heard while we were eating. at wendy’s. yup, that’s right.
- went to best buy to look at tvs and dvds. did not buy anything.
- walked through ikea.
- walked back to my car on passyunk/federal.
- RELIEF not to be walking anymore. drove back to my place on 21st & chestnut.
- went to TLA to get the movies chaplin and some cronenberg movies.
- gross pizza and mozzarella sticks from tower pizza.
- overall satisfaction of NOT being at work and seeing familiar parts of philly during the day. the pleasure of the little things.
